We are very excited to be running a regular series where we gather brands from the community to share exactly how they do marketing.

In our How We Do Marketing series we’ll give you an inside view on how brilliant members of our community build their brands. The sessions will touch on everything from strategy and the role of marketing in different businesses to execution. Our aim is that you feel inspired by great work and fired up to go make things happen

Content is your brand personality and is how you bring your brand story to life. It’s an emotional connection between you and your audience. It is the growth driver for brand awareness and loyalty – how people see your brand, where they see it, when they see it and why they should interact with it. It’s crucial in building a community and converting new customers. From a wider perspective, when you think of any successful brand campaign it’s down to their content – the visuals, copy, messaging and overall creative content.

About the speaker

Originally from Ireland, Alex moved to London in September 2020 after living in New York for a few years. For 4 1/2 years she worked on the marketing team for Jameson Whiskey at Pernod Ricard in Dublin and New York, focusing on trade advocacy, revitalizing the brand through new strategic ATL & BTL campaign tactics and last year she wanted a role where she could be part of building a brand from the ground up, so when she saw the Content Marketing Manager role open at THIS™ she jumped at the opportunity.

Alex manages their social channels, website, trade shows/events, paid social and stunts. The last year has been incredible to work for such a brand disruptor in a booming sector and to see how fast the brand has grown.
