About this event

At Up World we believe we should be inspired by each other more often. Fun fact, this is actually where our name comes from – encouraging each other to copy (and nothing about copywriting, oops). We are very excited to be running a regular series where we gather brands from the community to share exactly how they do marketing.

In our How We Do Marketing series we’ll give you an inside view on how brilliant members of our community build their brands. The sessions will touch on everything from strategy and the role of marketing in different businesses to execution. Our aim is that you feel inspired by great work and fired up to go make things happen.


This week we’re delighted to host Sam Day, Growth Manager at HelloFresh! HelloFresh SE is the world’s leading meal kit company and operates in the 13 markets across the world and owns 4-brands, HelloFresh, Every Plate, Green Chef, and Chef Plate. HelloFresh delivered 149 million meals to 4.18 million active customers worldwide in Q2 2020.


HelloFresh was founded in Berlin in November 2011 and went public on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in November 2017. HelloFresh has offices in New York, Berlin, London, Amsterdam, Sydney, Toronto, Auckland, Copenhagen, and Paris.


About the Speaker

Sam has been with the company for 2.5yrs and is going to share how they have scaled their offline growth channels and leverage in-box partnerships to deliver added value for consumers whilst delivering revenue to the bottom-line.
